Financial Aid Is Available For Those Who Qualify:

When choosing to attend school, financial planning is one of the most important steps that need consideration on your part. If you know you are going to need financial assistance in order to attend school, please discuss your options with our Admissions/Financial Aid Director during our personal interview. Sumter Beauty College is approved by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in a variety of programs on both the Federal and State Levels:

- Pell Grants

- SEOG Grants

- VA

- Vocational Rehabilitation

- Scholarship Programs

- MYCAA Program (for spouses of military personnel)

Financial aid programs do not usually cover the entire cost of the program. You are going to owe some money yourself. A variety of monthly payment plans can be arranged as well … with NO finance charges if paid during your enrollment. Our motto is: Where there is a will, there is a way! We will do our very best to help you make the plans for yourself so you are able to afford the education you want.

Are there steps you can take to apply for financial aid yourself?

YES!

If you want to begin the application process and do not feel that you need our assistance, you can complete the FASFA (Free Application for Student Financial Aid) at www.fafsa.ed.gov

You will be led step-by-step through the application process. You will need to include our school code at the end of your application, which is 017236. Using this code gives the government permission to share your information with us.  If you need help completing your applications or if you do not have access to a computer, please give us a call at 803-773-7311. We will be more than willing to help you complete the necessary paperwork! Someone is normally in the Admissions/Financial Aid office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of each week from 10:00 until 5:00.
